Listen to this episode

Hi everyone, I’m Christine and this is F1 Minute for the 5th February 2008.

Ferrari and Toyota continue their test in Bahrain, with Kimi Raikkonen topping the times, Badoer in the sister Ferrari behind him, and Glock and Trulli rounding out the four runners. The Toyota boys appeared to be struggling and Trulli commented on what a difficult day it was. He said: “At the moment we are still in the first stages of our preparation - we have updates and more performance to come.”

The boss of the Circuit de Catalunya has been speaking of the incident at Barcelona testing this past weekend. He said that officials acted immediately to deal with those involved, and he feels that reporting of the incident has not been entirely accurate. He says: “In no way can the behaviour of ten fans represent the 55,000 who enjoyed the three days and knew how to behave. I think that in some cases the behaviour of some 10 or 15 people has been taken out of context. We are against any racist or xenophobic demonstration, even if it’s from a few, and we are not going to allow a repeat of this in the future.”

That’s all for today, I’ll be back tomorrow with another F1 Minute.

If Ferrari dominates this season I’ll kill myself; it would be a total disaster. I can’t even pronounce this name without having attack of diarrhoea or nausea, utterly disgusting team, I’m being a bit racist as well here, if I make to Jerez next week I’ll try to scream something offensive to Massa (thankfully I’ve learned all Portuguese swear-words very well) and Raikkonen as well; I might want to prepare some nasty slogan, like writing the f-word all over the place or write F-word=Ferrari, I’m sure McLaren people will appreciate it.
    Joking as always, ha-ha!

Is that the Blue Orange Lion’s crazy brother again? :)

And although ” The Blue Orange Lion” is joking; there are people out there that might take it serious……………….Now that’s funny.

I was kidding, that’s for sure - but you have to admit, fellas, that Schumacher/Ferrari was one of the most boring combinations in F1 and I feel that Raikkonen/Ferrari collaboration will send me asleep during tv broadcasts this year, now that’s a real danger!

It all depends Blue Orange Lion. I, as a Ferrari fan enjoyed the Schumi/Ferrari combo.
As a F1; I have to admit that it was boring to watch races.

Then, the changes came and it became a bit more competitive, but now it seems that Ferrari is pulling away again.

That’s why on another article here, I had mentioned that it will be good to F1 to see a 3 or 4 way battle (Ferrari, Mclaren, BMW, and Renault)
But now with all the testing going on, I’m beginning to believe Ferrari will take it without any real challenge

Ferrari have clearly improved the pace if we consider the times they did in Bahrain last year, but also Toyota has improved if we compare their times today and the times they did last year. That’s normal, Formula 1 is a continuous improvement. But I don’t think Ferrari is going to “kill” the season (and Blue Orange Lion… ih ih) because I would like to see a session with all the teams on the same track and in the same conditions. And this has never happened yet. I think we will see in Melbourne…
