Massa has no doubts about racing again

This is F1Minute for the 8th September.
Felipe Massa has spoken to The Guardian newspaper in the UK, with a full in depth interview that’s worth reading. However, some important snippets include Massa’s confirmation that he has no doubt about returning to racing, particularly because he remembers very little about the accident itself, and the experience was much harder on his family. He said: “If I don’t drive then I am not the same person. Ever since I was a small boy this is my life. This is what I like to do. So I really hope, and expect, nothing will change inside of me when I go back into the car and start pushing myself to the maximum again.”
Massa underwent the anticipated plastic surgery yersterday, and a Ferrari statement confirms this was successful, and Felipe should be home soon.
Meanwhile, completely changing the subject, organisers at Monza have installed higher kerbs at the first and second chicane, to try and stop drivers cutting the corner at this weekend’s race.
That’s all for today, I’ll be back tomorrow with another F1Minute.
