Rosberg believes Williams moving forwards

This is F1Minute for the 18th June.

All the teams say they are developing their cars, but it is impossible to tell how competitive they are as their rivals are developing too. Well, Nico Rosberg thinks they are catching up. He believes that Williams are moving up the order and says: “McLaren is in front of us by one and a half points, and that’s not right, but we’ll beat them very soon. In two races time we could be fifth in the constructors’, and that’s more or less where we should be.”

Elsewhere, FOTA are apparently meeting tonight, with team principals set to gather at the Renault factory, to discuss their response to Max Mosley’s offer. Autosport reports that some sources say the teams aren’t entirely happy about Max’s suggestions, but it doesn’t look like the FIA are going to budge any further.

The drivers are starting to react as well, with Alonso suggesting he would follow the teams to a breakaway if that happened, and Heidfeld saying this has gone on so long it is now damaging F1.

That’s all for now, please join me tomorrow for another F1Minute.
