Today is the 27th October 2009 and this is F1Minute.

It has been confirmed that Glock won’t be racing for Toyota this weekend. Kamui Kobayashi will continue to take his place, as the team aren’t confident that Glock is 100% recovered. Initially, they seemed to suggest that they had conflicting doctor’s orders, but now they just confirm they don’t want to risk his health, and are sorry that the season is ending this way for Glock.

Elsewhere, Alonso is preparing for his last race with Renault again. He says: “It will be an emotional race because I have enjoyed so many special memories with this team and I am leaving behind a lot of friends. Renault is one of the great teams in Formula One and I look forward to fighting with them on the track in the years ahead.” Team boss Bob Bell added: “It’s often said that he is the best driver on the grid and I wouldn’t disagree with that so we’re understandably sad to see the end of our very successful relationship.

That’s all for now, I’ll be back tomorrow with another F1Minute.
