This is F1Minute - Jenson Button dominates Free Practice in Japan.

Free Practice 1 in Suzuka was all about McLaren, with Jenson Button posting the fastest time less than a tenth of a second ahead of teammate Lewis Hamilton. The pair had been swapping fastest laps throughout.

Sebastian Vettel managed to post the third fastest time, despite the fact he ended the session in the tyre barriers. It wasn’t a huge hit, however, and he was unharmed. Other incidents included Pastor Maldonado sliding off track and over the grass. He rejoined directly in front of an irritated Mark Webber, but had to pull off track and end his session early.

Notably, the Toro Rosso drivers finished FP1 in 6th and 8th, and continued their good run in FP2 by ending the day 10th and 11th. Jenson Button remained on top for the second session, this time just ahead of Fernando Alonso, with Vettel third.

Bruno Senna had a massive spin off into the dust, for a moment it looked like his session was over, but he managed to get going again. Rubens Barrichello was the real casualty though, trashing his Williams in the barriers, but again unharmed.
