This is F1Minute - Jenson Button wins as Vettel secures the title in Brazil.
It was an absolutely chaotic race in Brazil, impossible to sum up in 60 seconds but here goes nothing. The rain was intermittent, showers of varying degrees, so tyre management was crucial.
Lewis Hamilton got a great start with Button alongside him. The Red Bulls did not, whilst the Ferraris surged forward. Vettel got tangled up with Senna and Pérez, spinning round and dropping to the back of the field.
When the rain came, Hamilton pitted from the lead for intermediates, Button and Hülkenberg did not, with the Force India getting in front to lead the race. As conditions changed, Hamilton moved past the pair for first place, until Hülkenberg crashed into him, and gave himself a drive through penalty. Hamilton was forced to retire.
So Button led the race and took the chequered flag. Behind him, Vettel moved up through the field to sixth place. Alonso needed to win to take the championship but could only manage second, with Felipe Massa joining him on the podium for an emotional third place at his home race.
