Klien remains at HRT for Abu Dhabi

Welcome to F1Minute for the 10th November 2010.
For the Brazilian GP last weekend, Sakon Yamamoto was ousted from the HRT car in favour of Christian Klien, and there wasn’t even any food poisoning involved. Now, it’s been confirmed that Klien will be in the car once again for Abu Dhabi, and he says: “It’s my third chance to compete for the team this season and I’m getting more and more used to the car and the crew. I hope we can achieve some great results and have a clean weekend.” Is that someone eyeing up a race seat for 2011?
We talked about Hamilton’s pessimism compared to Whitmarsh’s optimism in the last minute, but Lewis’ attitude means he might be even more feisty than normal at the weekend. He admits that the pressure is off as he is 24 points behind Alonso, but does admit: “I know from personal experience that the championship isn’t over until you cross the line on the final lap - so I’ll not only make sure I’m up there at the end, but pushing hard until the very end. It’s going to be a brilliant spectacle...”
