This is F1Minute - Mark Webber takes his first and last win of 2011 in Brazil.
The Brazilian Grand Prix had to send the 2011 Formula One season off in style, and it was Mark Webber who made the most of this final opportunity for glory. Sebastian Vettel led the way from pole position on what was a clear, warm day.
There was talk of rain throughout the afternoon but it never arrived. Vettel found himself struggling with gearbox issues, which meant he had to slow down and allow Webber past him. The Australian kept the lead to take his first victory of the season.
Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso scrapped for the final podium position, with Alonso taking the position at the start, and Button stealing it right back at the end. Lewis Hamilton suffered a total gearbox failure and retired from the race, along with Tonio Liuzzi, Pastor Maldonado and Timo Glock.
The other major incident came between Bruno Senna and Michael Schumacher who came together around a corner. Senna was given a drive through penalty which ruined his afternoon, he finished the race in 17th.
